CARING FOR A LOVED ONE with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia can be challenging. Finding the right facility for care can present an even bigger challenge! We hope to offer peace-of-mind in knowing your loved one is in an environment with around-the-clock care. And what is equally important, our staff support your loved one’s interests. There are comfortable furnishings and tastefully decorated living, dining and activity spaces. With a variety of floor plans, your loved one’s room is set up for comfort and ease of use.  We encourage residents to bring their favorite pieces of furniture. Plus, the enclosed courtyards and outside walking areas offer nicely manicured landscapes to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Highland Court makes for a warm and inviting new home.

OUR ENVIRONMENT is monitored by specially trained professional staff. We know each resident’s life story is unique and we take the time to know their stories and personalize their care to create experiences that are meaningful for them. Memory Care at Highland Court

As you know, memory care goes beyond dining services and medication management. Everyday interactions are what make a difference in the lives of those with memory loss. Our comfortable community offers individuals an opportunity to connect with peers and health care professionals with ease.

Our facility is geared towards memory care enhancement. Our purposeful design offers ample natural lighting, open community spaces and a circular set up. Our care staff update charts and communicate via mobile devices. Thus, hallways have very little sound pollution and the building has a calm feeling about it.  The intentionality of this space is something you can see, feel, and hear.

Services in the monthly base rent for memory care include:
  • Medication management
  • 3 meals each day and snacks throughout the day
  • Modified diet needs
  • Weekly housekeeping services
  • Personal laundry services
  • All utilities (except telephone and cable)
  • Planned activities, exercise programs and an abundance of social opportunities
  • 24-hour staff for supervision and assistance
  • RN oversight
  • Regular monitoring for general health and well-being
  • Apartment maintenance

*If the services included in the monthly base rent are not enough to maintain independent living, additional personal support services can be added. We can assist in designing a care program to fit individual needs for living as independently as possible. The ‘personal support services fee’ is based on the actual services provided.  We determine services after a personal assessment conducted by our professional team.
